Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

Please read the following important information regarding COVID

The Centre is working to ensure the health and safety of all patrons and staff is maintained. We want to address the growing fears around the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and share with you the information we have at the current time.

We are working to ensure our centre remains a safe place to visit and work. The health and safety of our community is our main priority, we always uphold a high standard of hygiene within the centre, however are taking extra precautions during this time.

We hope you will do what you can to take care of yourself and those around you, we also encourage you to use and support our community facility with confidence while it is safe to do so.

Remember is you are feeling unwell or showing symptoms of the flu, cough or cold to please remain away from the centre until you are feeling 100%.

Update - 05/11/2021

72 Hour Lockout in place for Greater Darwin 

 
As per the Territory Government announcement of a 72-hour Lockout, for the safety of our community we will be closed until Monday 8th November. 

This period is subject to change in line with revisions from the government.

Due to this temporary closure, please read below what this will mean for you, our members and guests.    

Fully vaccinated residents will be able to live normally within the lockout area.  

Everyone must wear a mask outside their place of residence. 

Unvaccinated residents, including those people who have received only their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, must stay at home for the 72 hour lockout period. 

By staying at home and limiting contact with other people, we can each help to protect the elderly, the at-risk, and healthcare workers and slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).   

Your Membership    

  • Your membership will be placed on a free suspension for the duration of the closure period. 
  • All future bookings you have made (for the closure period) will be cancelled.   
  • All memberships will restart from Monday 8th November unless the lockout period changes.

Update - 26/08/2021

Our gym is OPEN & we have a new timetable to celebrate!

Following the Territory Government directive, Darwin will lift all COVID restrictions from 12pm today, Thursday 26 August. 

This means we can re-open our gym access and all programs will resume as normal. 

Please remember to check-in via the Territory Check-In app when visiting us.

Your Memberships and Passes 

Gym memberships will be reinstated from tomorrow, 27th August 2021. 

Free swim access is always available.

Check Out our NEW Group Fitness Timetable 

To celebrate re-opening our gym and being able to return to fitness, we are launching out new group fitness timetable! Featuring the return of YOGA CLASSES! 

Here is what you need to know: 

  • Group Fitness classes are BACK! Resuming from 12pm Thursday 26 August – see our timetable for classes 
  • Health Club will reopen from 12pm Thursday 26 August 
  • Pool access will is current open 
  • Territory QR check-in is mandatory

Update - 19/08/2021

Our pools are open

As per the Territory Government directive, Darwin will come out of lockdown from 12pm today, Thursday 19 August.  

This means we can re-open our pool access from 1pm today! At this time our gym will remain closed. 

Restrictions will remain in place including the wearing of masks both indoors and outside and check-in via the Territory Check-In app when visiting us. 

This is subject to change in line with revisions from the government.

  • Pool access will recommence Thursday 19 August. 
  • Territory QR check-in is mandatory  
  • Mask must be worn except when participating in exercise that causes you to be out of breath.

As per the Territory Government directive, we will be closed effective from 12pm today (Monday 16 August), following the announcement of a Territory 72-hour Lockdown. 

This period is subject to change in line with revisions from the government.
