Full Access Direct Debit Membership
Gym, swim and play to a healthy lifestyle at SWELL Palmerston! Our direct debit members enjoy the variety of an inclusive approach to fitness, with unlimited access to the gym, pools and group fitness on a full access membership.
You can become a member of SWELL Palmerston by joining online, or come into the facility and a friendly team member will assist you.
You must be 18 years old to complete an online membership, if you are under 18 years of age your parent/guardian must complete the online aplication or come into the centre with you.

What is included in a Health Club membership?
Memberships will include gym access and group fitness classes. Pool access is also currently free to the public.
Will all the gym equipment be replaced?
Yes, we’re bringing all new equipment to the gym! This includes new Treadmills, Cross Trainers, Exercise Bikes and Resistance Machines from brands including Impulse and Sports Art Status . Please note, group fitness and the group fit room cage will remain unchanged.
Will the SWELL Health Club have Group Fitness classes?
Yes, we do intend to run group fitness classes at SWELL, and we are currently looking for qualified instructors. Please get in touch with us if you or someone you know are interested in applying!
Will we have to book for Group Fitness classes?
When Group Fitness is up and running you will need to book in your attendance. Bookings can be made through the Active World app or through the facility reception. Please see reception for login details.
How do I enter the gym when it’s open?
You will need to visit reception to scan your membership card or sign in for a casual visit before entering the gym or a class.
Will there be gym lockers for use?
Lockers are currently not available. We recommend leaving valuables at home or keeping them on you.
